Vision
A pioneer research group for colloid and advanced materials chemistry across the globe. Achieving international fame and recognition and utilizing our research in industries and academics. |
Mission
Collaborative research and team work will form an internationally leading research group. The main theme of research interest of the CAM lies in the general area of colloid and advanced materials chemistry that spans physical, inorganic and electrochemistry areas. Surfactants and colloidal nanoparticles which self assemble on nanometer length scales are incorporated in many everyday products such as foods, cosmetics, paints and household products. One of our aims is to understand the fundamental science behind the modes of action of these systems for both new and current applications. Particular attention will be paid to the ongoing applications in advanced technology. The final outcome in the form of publications and patents will strengthen the University and the Faulty. Support to the graduate studies will help in propagating the knowledge usefulness of the surfactants and colloids in daily life. |
Goals
The objectives of the colloid and advanced materials group are mainly associated with the research and development of colloids and new materials related systems. Our laboratory based research will provided a great platform for a teamwork, as well as using our own initiative. A keen attention to detail and strong interpersonal and IT skills were vital for working in a university environment, as the communication of ideas and results through collaboration with colleagues at conferences, meetings and emails are a constant part of expanding our research |
